Gorkey Public School is under P.V Ramaiah Educational society was founded by Dr. P.Gorkey in KaikondaiGudem division, KhammamMunicipal Corporation, Khammam District, Telangana state with the sole aim of providing quality education to the rural as well as urban students in an affordable cost. The school campus is located in a serene surrounding. The school was established in the year 1995 with 600 students now it has developed into a very large school with the strength of 1450.
Presently the school is ranked as one of the CBSE schools in Khammam district with all round development facilities. The children of this school excel in every aspects of education having come up with flying colors in academics, Co-Curricular and extra-curricular activities. Our students have brought laurels to the school representing at national level sports in Athletics, Basketball, Kho-Kho and Volleyball, we have fledgling athletes Kumari Maithili of class X representing Telangana at the nationals in 400 meters and Akshitha of class X representing 100 meters and Long Jump. Budding archers and skaters are produced from our school at the national levels.
In Academics the school is known for producing excellent results every year. Nearly 40% of the students secured 10 Grade points in the last four years of class X results and when marks criteria was introduced our student Anusri secured 472/500 in the last academic year. Our school believes in all round development of each and every child. The school has produced many doctors and IITians.
